I get this a lot due to my bad hearing and failure to understand mumbling / rambling.

I never liked how people would talk to me but I wasn’t able to fully understand a part of their sentence or something then all of a sudden they go “never mind” and give me attitude after like I wasn’t listening, pisses the shit out of me. Another thing is when people talk under their breath like they wanted to say it out loud but doesn’t want me to fully hear it because I might get offensive. Honestly I get more offended when you do it under your breath than you actually telling me louder and to my face.
